<image:title>EXHIBITITIONS - "2AS" 18</image:title>
<image:caption>“Welcome to Senegal” begins the series of the “Landing”, which is an account of my landing into Dakar Senegal, and my first ever trip to Africa. The details in the photographs show the beautifully strange experience, one I would only imagine to be similar to landing on a foreign planet. All visually stood out, from the people, the land itself, the language and customs. It was an alternate universe for a New Yorker stepping onto such an ancient land. As you scroll through the photos I hope to share the same wonderfully strange experience with you the viewer.</image:caption>

<image:title>EXHIBITITIONS - "Prism 1" 18</image:title>
<image:caption>The “Horizon” is a compilation of photographs taken at sunrise & sunset from the window of the airplane, to and from Senegal. The images capture the light on obtuse, and 180 degree angles. The colors blend gracefully as if they were passed through a prism, separating the white light into a spectrum of colors. All of the images at first glance look the same, but at a closer investigation you begin to see the unique differences from one image to the next.</image:caption>

<image:title>EXHIBITITIONS - "SILVERWING BLUE PURPLE" 2018</image:title>
<image:caption>“SILVERWING” is a series of 3 photographs taken while looking out on the wing of a Boeing 757. The ground below expands as it is 30 mins before landing at the Blaise Diagne International Airport of Senegal. The softly painted pastels of the sky reflects off of the silver wing creating a canvas, blending land and sky like a masterly painting.</image:caption>

<image:title>EXHIBITITIONS - " Truck Lounging 2" 18</image:title>
<image:caption>“The Brown Wall” depicts life on the road to Dakar. The people are constantly on the go, utilizing all forms of transport that occupy the highway into the big city. One gets an inside look of the goings on, from the use of yellow taxis, Busses packed with passengers literally from the inside out, and decorated in hand painted graphics, to men hitching rides on the back of flat bed trucks, everything goes. As you pass by the passersby you can’t help but to notice The Brown Wall in the back ground to this great motion picture. Decorated in street art like modern day frescoes, the wall tells a story to every neighborhood where it borders.</image:caption>

<image:title>EXHIBITITIONS - "Mitsubishi 4 Door " 18</image:title>
<image:caption>“Dakar 34” tells the story of my journey into the city from the dessert flat lands of the Senegalese international airport “Blaise Diagne”. Experiencing the terrain for the very first time, noticing the red color of the earth, and the hyper blues in the sky, all seeming so strange in comparison to the land back home in the U.S. The journey in shows life on the road into the big city Dakar. As we get closer in you begin to see the population increase, and life at its constant pace.</image:caption>
